This webinar will focus on how the Service members Civil Relief Act (SCRA) provides a number of unique protections to military personnel and their families, both procedural as well as substantive. Take this timely program to learn:
* The scope of the statute’s coverage
* Refer judicial officials to available sua sponte actions
* The special procedural and substantive protections available under the law
* Advice on best practices when handling issues involving service members, including how to avoid noncompliance and penalties
* Enforcement of rights and remedies by service members under the statute
* The work being done by the Department of Justice to enforce the SCRA
* Recent updates to the SCRA, as well as anticipated changes to the law in the future
